I can hardly believe that Theo knew what to do with this little toy. I guess it's pretty self explanitory. :)
Still, he is such an unknown entity to me even now, that I marvel at every little skill that he shows me!
Doesn't he look good today? I swear he is fattening up before our very eyes! The docs want me to take him to the "Failure to Thrive" Clinic. I'm not convinced. It's not like it is some huge mystery why he is so tiny.
I just don't want to get sucked into the clinic and therapy black hole. I'm not in a hot hurry anyway. I want to give the boys a chance to get comfy and settled at home. Is that too much to ask?
The failure to thrive clinic???Excuse me while I wipe the tears from LMAO. Uuuhm yeah, he is tiny but there is not much they can do for him right now that you are not already doing at home. I'd blow that off in a hurry.
ReplyDeleteI had two failure to thrive babies..for some reason they just didnt gain weight like our other children but we gave the girls extra love and tried to sneak in extra calories..and today theyre just fine..theo looks better then he did in his pics..just love on him and when he feels secure in his mommies love hell blossom..6 mths from now hell be all over the place and act like every other toddler in love with the parents..
ReplyDeleteWe're with you.... we are not planning on whisking Aaron off to clinics and therapies when our plane touches down. LOVE - Security and time....
ReplyDeleteOf course he looks better!! He is being LOVED by him Mommy & Daddy & siblings! failure to thrive... whatever!! You are doing a great job with them!
ReplyDeleteWhat a little cutie pie. Theo does look noticeably better. Keep up the loving!!!
ReplyDeleteYes therapy can be such a black hole. I would certainly give it time. Go with your gut. He looks great!
ReplyDeleteHi! I stopped by again from Maria's blog. Your son has brought tears to my eyes in this video! His desire to interact with his environment is a GREAT sign! Many kids go "inside" after being institutionalized and dealing with severe malnutrition, but this little sign shows that he still wants to engage and be a part of his environment...Yay!!! And you are an amazing mom.
